Unfortunately, unless there's a waterproof speaker out there that uses Lightning to charge and I'm just not aware of it, you're likely going to simply have to live with using different cables. It sucks for iPhone users, but it's the best choice for the majority of consumers. Speaker manufacturers should be using the most widely adopted standard, and that's becoming USB-C. The simple fact is that you're highly unlikely to find many speakers that use Lightning to charge. A majority of speakers use micro-USB, and will be moving to USB-C in the near future. That's not to say more don't or haven't existed, it's just the only one I've seen. The only speaker I've ever seen that uses Lightning to charge is the Beats Pill+.
